The distribution of materials was the hardest element of this project as the process required for complete pallets to go into the distribution centre with the contents clearly marked so they could be inspected and checked by security staff. The pallets would be coded and could only be called off as complete pallets. This required us planning out each room requirements and working with our own distribution team and manufacturers to ensure that the pallets going into the centre were complete and had all the required items, in some cases this involved having one manufacturer deliver items to another to consolidate loads. Working together with numerous stakeholders was essential to ensure that the project was able to be delivered on time.
We were responsible for the guest room, corridor and Back of house area fit out including all carpentry, decoration, Tiling, Waterproofing, guest room Plumbing & Electrics along with external lighting. The rooms were all wallpapered with a fully finished skirting. The bathrooms used two different coloured wall tiles with a granite floor and vanity with the DDA rooms having rocktop anti slip tiles.
